You may have asked yourself at some point. . . .(or maybe not...)
"Just who is "The Webgirl"?"

Greetings to all!

Thanks for stopping by! I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you, tell you a bit about myself, my business and perhaps explain why I do what I do. My name is Bobbi Manning AKA The Webirl. I love computers and the Internet, that alone is probably my biggest driving force!

After spending a gazillion hours on the Internet, with my interest and fascination growing in leaps and bounds, I designed my first personal home page. That was well over 17 years ago. One thing led to another (as things often do) and before long I was designing websites for other people. Through this period I was also working full time in a local office. However, there came a time when I realized it was time to branch out on my own, which led to the birth of "Arctic Web Publications". I have been fully self-employed as a web designer for over 15 years now, and my fascination with the Internet continues to grow.

You will never look at a site designed by Arctic Web, click on "View Source" and find any such thing as "<--Built with FrontPage-->" Have Mercy!! My philosophy has always been to design quality web sites. I believe they should be user-friendly, attractive visually and with great attention paid to detail. I truly enjoy the creative aspect of web page layout and also have a passion for graphic design. I create my own designs, using professional programs such as Adobe PhotoShop and Corel Draw among others. Most of my web design work is done using Dreamweaver and Homesite.

I also fell in love with the beauty of the Kenai Peninsula and the communities around where I call home. As time passed and my imagination gradually began to wander (which it sometimes does!) the idea of building a site that would help show the world the scenic beauty, the communities and the businesses that Alaska's Kenai Peninsula has to offer began to take shape. The result was "KenaiPeninsula.Com", my contribution to this fascinating area.

I would love to add your business, your school, your service, or your interest to this ever-growing directory. If you have a site you would like added to Alaska's Kenai Peninsula Resource Network, just click here for more information about how you can join us.

I will be working diligently to ensure that the Kenai Peninsula Resource Network is what potential visitors/customers will find when they do a search on the Internet for our area. I hope you will check back with KenaiPeninsula.com frequently for the newest updates and additions.

If you would like more information about getting your business or service online, please check with arcticpublications.com for your absolutely free of charge estimate for website design, re-design or related information.

Sincerely,
Bobbi The Webgirl
